If you’re looking for something a little more adventurous than a night at the pub, NYC offers a variety of strip clubs with bottle service, lap dances and burlesque shows.
Sapphire Times Square is one of the hottest strip clubs in New York City. It’s got a lavish design and top-notch entertainment.
TIMES SQUARE
Times Square is one of the most famous and visited spots in New York City. It is home to bars, restaurants, theatres and a great atmosphere. It is a must-visit for tourists and locals alike.
It is located in the center of Midtown Manhattan and forms part of the Theater District, which is bounded by Sixth and Eighth Avenues in the east and west and 40th and 53rd Streets to the south and north. It is also a major transportation hub for the subway and bus lines.
Originally known as Long Acre Square, the neighborhood soon transformed into one of the most thriving areas in the city. This was largely due to the establishment of the first rapid transit system in the United States, the Interborough Rapid Transit Company, which helped increase foot traffic in the area.
Another factor that contributed to the thriving business environment was the arrival of a number of legitimate theaters in the area. By the end of World War I, most theaters had moved to Times Square from other former entertainment districts downtown.
In 1904, the New York Times moved its editorial offices to the area from Park Row and established the Times Building. This skyscraper was the second tallest building in the city at that time and is still one of the most popular landmarks in Times Square.
Today, Times Square is the focal point of New York’s commercial and cultural life. The district is a major destination for tourists and hosts an annual New Year’s Eve celebration that includes the dropping of a large illuminated ball from the Times Building.
With so many tourists visiting this area of the city, it is important to know how to stay safe in Times Square. The most common tips to avoid a potential scam include: staying in a safe area and keeping your valuables hidden at all times.
During your visit to the area, you should also keep an eye out for petty thieves who may be looking to steal from you. This is especially true if you’re wearing a backpack or a bag.
HUSTLER CLUB
Hustler Club is the ultimate New York City nightclub experience. It boasts an open atmosphere, full bar, top-tier female dancers, fine dining and more. It opened in September 2010.
This upscale, modern strip club is one of the city’s most popular venues for couples, but there are also plenty of naughty things to do on a date or just by yourself.
There are two floors of entertainment in this spacious club, including a huge main stage that’s surrounded by red curtains and a series of mirrors that reflect the girls’ every move. The women who perform here are incredibly talented and strong, with many of them even performing feats high above the stage.
On the first floor, there are eight deluxe VIP booths that fit up to 7 people. If you prefer to have a little privacy, you can book a Hustler Honey Suite or skybox on the second floor (more below).
The third floor of Hustler is home to a rooftop lounge, called Terrace After Hours, which opens at 12am on Saturday and goes until close the following day. It’s the ideal place to have a drink before a show, but you don’t need a VIP table to enjoy this party–just general seating or luxury couches and a lap dance ($20).
If you want to make the most of your trip to Hustler, you should also check out their Sunday industry nights. They’re a fun way to meet the strippers and get a good vibe from them before the real action starts.
In addition to this weekly “themed party,” the Hustler crew has a stacked roster of dancers who will keep you entertained all night long. The girls here are always happy to help you find your perfect match, and they’ll do their best to ensure that you have a great time.
As a bonus, if you book a bottle or bucket of beer through their website prior to visiting the club, you’ll be treated to some specials! And if you’re a big fan of sports, you can even take advantage of Hustler’s specials on Thursday Night Football.
EDGE OF THE WEST
When it comes to nightlife, New York City has it all — from clubs that cater to the party crowd to more sophisticated spots with bottle service, lap dances and burlesque shows. Whether you’re looking for a way to break out of a monotonous date night or something that’ll give you and your friends the wildest, most raunchy experience possible, strip clubs are a great place to start.
The far west side of Manhattan is home to a number of strip clubs that cater to young, wealthy men and women. And since they’re on industrial blocks that empty out at night, they often don’t get much noise complaints from their neighbors.
That’s a change from the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood, where strip clubs are densely packed into residential buildings. But it still means the Board of Buildings must approve them before they can open their doors to the public.
This roving, amateur strip club changes locations every week, and caters to young financiers who want a “girl-next-door” experience. Its college-dorm feel leaves patrons requesting dates almost as frequently as they request lap dances.
But despite its high-class image, the club has been plagued by scandals in recent years. Its owners, Sapphire Entertainment, have been accused of racism and of putting women at risk through sexual harassment.
While the club has been under investigation, its owner has disputed these claims. It has also fought back against a New York Times report that it was paying women less than the minimum wage to perform at Sapphire clubs.
It’s unclear how long these allegations will stand, but it should be at least a few weeks before we hear any more details from the investigation. Regardless, the club will have to do what it can to protect its reputation and its dancers.
If you’re looking for a club with a little more substance than the typical hotspot, check out EDGE OF THE WEST. This club has a lot to offer, including an extensive drink list and the most popular DJ in town. The deejays here know how to set the mood and create mixes catered to any crowd. The drinks aren’t cheap, but you’ll be glad you spent the money when the night is over.
ELEMENTS
Whether you’re a bachelor or bachelorette, a corporate overlord trying to show off a few bucks during a business trip, or your best friend in the world is getting married and you want to make a night of it, New York City has plenty of strip clubs for you to choose from.
The hottest spot to see the best performers in town is Rick’s Cabaret, which has a reputation for being an old-school joint that avoids the gauche. Its dancers all look like the kind of girls you saw in Playboy’s glossy pages.
It’s a bit pricey, but it’s worth it to see some of the best pole performers in town. The club feels a little bit like a biker bar, but with a more diverse crowd of people. The DJ spins mostly hip-hop, but not just top 40 stuff, and tattooed, pierced women with cool, brightly colored hairdos dance alongside the performers you’d expect to see in more mainstream venues.
This strip club is known for its dancers, but the music is also a big draw, and the place is always packed with people who aren’t afraid to get loud and dance. They’re often dressed in lingerie or skimpy attire, and their dance moves are a mix of hip hop and classic strip-club jiggles.
They’re also very open-minded when it comes to offering dances to female patrons. They’ll let you know if they have an open slot for you before you go in, and they’ll ask you if you’d like to buy a drink for the dancers when you’re there.
In addition to their regular shows, they also host special events and burlesque shows. There’s a monthly event that includes live music from a local artist, and they even have a burlesque brunch on Saturdays!
One of the most interesting things about ELEMENTS is that it’s run by Chef Scott Anderson, who has the same passion for sourcing organic ingredients and sustainably raised meats as the restaurant. He has a great eye for finding the complementary flavor dimensions in food, and then he skillfully blends them to create excitingly different dishes that will take you outside your comfort zone.
