Founded in 1897, the Yale Club of New York City is a private club in Midtown Manhattan. Its membership is restricted almost entirely to alumni and faculty of Yale University. With a worldwide membership of over 11,000, it allows graduates the opportunity to maintain the friendships they made at Yale.
The clubhouse is 22 stories high and includes 138 hotel rooms, three restaurants, athletic facilities, and a number of other spaces. Its main dining room, The Tap Room, was originally built as a billiard hall and has long served as the club’s principal venue for gatherings.
Its neoclassical architecture was designed by James Gamble Rogers and is surrounded by historic artifacts and portraits of famous Yale alumni. A number of Yale-educated presidents have been members, including William Howard Taft, Gerald Ford, George H. W. Bush, and Bill Clinton.
Inside the main lounge, a high ceiling and elaborate plasterwork decorate the room. A fireplace hangs above the large columns and the walls are lined with portraits of five Yale-educated United States presidents, including William Howard Taft, Gerald R. Ford, and George H. W. Bush.
A second, more intimate dining area is located on the upper floor. This room offers a more casual atmosphere, but also features a bar. It’s a great place to enjoy some light fare, and if you’re lucky, you might even catch the tail end of a game.
The Yale Club has one of the most vibrant reciprocal programs of any club in the country. Its network of carefully selected clubs around the world gives its members access to a variety of exclusive places, from historic clubs in Boston and Chicago to athletic clubs in Los Angeles and Seattle.
There are several different types of memberships, and each one comes with its own perks and benefits. For example, memberships are cheaper for younger people or those who live in the same neighborhood as the club. They also have a sliding scale rate for older and higher-income people.
If you’re interested in joining the Yale Club, you can apply online or call the club’s membership department for more information. They can also give you a tour of the club and help you decide whether it’s right for you.

The Clubhouse App
The Clubhouse app is a new social media platform that’s been getting a lot of attention in the press. Founded by Rohan Seth and Paul Davison, it’s been generating quite a buzz among tech types.
Unlike Facebook and Twitter, Clubhouse is based around audio chats. You can create a room, invite friends or followers to join, and then start talking.
It’s a great way to stay connected with your audience and get the word out about what you’re doing. Whether you’re an online shop, brand, or event organizer, you can use this tool to engage with your fans and customers and drive your business forward.
One of the main reasons why people use the app is to interact with others in real-time. For example, you can talk to a customer about your product’s quality or share your thoughts on how a certain design could be improved.
The app also helps you keep up with industry trends and audience sentiment, which can help your brand grow. For instance, if you’re a company that recently announced that it’s switching to more sustainable products, you can host a Clubhouse chat and educate your audience about the change.
Another reason why people use the app is because it’s free to download. That’s a major benefit for anyone who doesn’t have the cash to pay for an annual membership at a traditional social network.
Lastly, Clubhouse is a great place to connect with other entrepreneurs and professionals in your industry. This is especially true if you’re looking to start or expand your business.
You can even connect your social media accounts to your Clubhouse profile, so you can share your posts and links directly from the app. It’s a great way to build your online presence and promote yourself and your brand, so it’s worth taking the time to set up a business account on the platform.
In addition to connecting with others in your industry, you can also use Clubhouse to create virtual events. This is a great way to bring together your team members to brainstorm ideas and find new ways to collaborate. If you’re a startup, it’s also a great way to showcase your brand and attract the attention of investors.
