Talia Shire is a Great Neck South graduate, best known for her roles as Adrian in the Rocky series and as Marlon Brando’s volatile daughter in the Godfather movies. She has also written and produced several films.

He had a strange fascination with the world of professional wrestling. He even filmed a short art film called My Breakfast with Blassie. It was an amazing piece of cinema. He was a favorite with the fans, but the wrestlers hated him. He once fought Jerry Lawler, who was the best in the world.

Kaufman’s life was portrayed by actor Jim Carrey in the 1999 movie Man on the Moon. He also had a number of roles on Taxi and starred in a couple of TV specials and pilots. He was also known for his work on the Improv circuit. He had a slew of side projects and he influenced many comedians. His former writing partner Bob Zmuda published a memoir in late 1999 entitled Andy Kaufman Revealed!. He was a longtime collaborator and risked his life on many of Kaufman’s pranks.

Originally from Southampton, Dr. Mary Cleave graduated from Great Neck North High School in 1965. She then went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences from Colorado State University and a Master’s Degree in Microbial Ecology from Utah State University. She later received a Ph.D in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Utah State University.

In 1991, she moved to Maryland to work at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt. While there, she was the Project Manager for an ocean-focused satellite instrument called SeaWiFS, which collected valuable data on climate change, oceanography, and atmospheric science.

Located in the western part of the hamlet of Manhasset, Great Neck has many amenities to offer residents, including parks, a public library system, and several shopping centers. It is a 33 to 38-minute commute from Manhattan on the Port Washington branch of the Long Island Rail Road, and buses run from several points in the village.
